About Isobel

Isobel works with a big group of people that build experiments to search for Dark Matter, which consists of tiny, invisible particles that help make up everything in the universe. Isobel knew she wanted to work collaboratively as part of a team when she first started singing in a choir from the age of seven. She loved being part of a community, which continues into her role as a physicist where she works with lots of like-minded imaginative people to build better Dark Matter detectors. Isobel is organised and keeps a clear record of the team’s progress on building detectors.
