Solar Eclipse: Viewing the Sun Safely - STFC Public Engagement

Join us online as we kick off our solar eclipse talk series. Find out how to view the upcoming solar eclipse safely with Simon Blackshaw from RAL Space.

In this family-focussed talk (suitable for ages 5+), Simon will be sharing a little more detail about this year’s eclipse, including what an eclipse is and some safe ways to view one. There will also be a practical demonstration of how to make your own pinhole solar viewer at home.
