Exploring Engineering Day - STFC Public Engagement

We are pleased to be celebrating Tomorrow’s Engineers Week by running an Exploring Engineering Day for students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) on Friday 13 November 2026! The event will be in person at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. This is a fantastic chance to bring your students to a working laboratory and meet the engineers, technicians and scientists who work here, sharing the excitement of science, technology, engineering and computing with them. All students will have a chance to tour one of our experimental facilities, take part in a hands-on engineering workshop and enjoy an interactive talk.
