Engineering Your Future is a careers-focussed event to help students in Years 12 and 13 to find out more about different careers available to them if they choose to progress with work or study in the field of engineering. It will take place on Friday 21 November at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. It is co-hosted by Diamond Light Source, Oxfordshire’s very own synchrotron, and there will be an exclusive tour of Diamond during the day for all students and teachers.

We are delighted to have scientists and engineers from our external partners at this event, who will be running a series of interactive workshops, and students will also have an opportunity to speak to people from other organizations that support maths, science and engineering over a networking careers fair. A sandwich lunch is provided for all participants. There will also be a short careers talk (09:30-10:00), which can be joined online by all who apply – or you can choose to apply just to join this talk.

Registration of interest closes for this year’s in person event is closed; however, you are able to register for Engineering Your Future- Online talk, which is a short careers talk and overview of RAL online.
